Pay Range
The full pay range is $113,726.00-$170,588.00 annually. Depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available. Incentive targets vary by role.

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer 2 to join our team! This position is responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing security solutions to protect our organization from cyber threats. Plays a key role in responding to security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, and ensuring the overall integrity of our security infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Administers and configures security tools such as Palo Alto firewalls, Zscaler WebProxy, Proofpoint Email Security Suite.
- Designs, implements, and manages complex firewall and security platform architectures to meet organizational security requirements.
- Develops and enforces policies and rules to safeguard against unauthorized access and security threats.
- Collaborates with Principal Cybersecurity Engineer to contribute to the overall security architecture. Provide inputs and recommendations for improving the security posture of the organization.
- Assists troubleshooting efforts related network and firewall incidents and issues.
- Conducts in-depth analysis of security alerts, logs, and incidents to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Manages security posturing technology such as, but not limited to; data loss prevention technologies, intrusion detection/prevention platforms, secure email gateways, end point detection and response (EDR), DNS Security and Microsegmentation.
- Administers organization’s vulnerability management efforts, conducting regular assessments and scans.
- Manages compliance and hardening tools, proxies, SIEM platform.
- Performs diagnostic analysis of the network system, identifying possible faulty devices, troubleshooting faulty modules, troubleshooting network problems and outages, and prepares necessary documentation detailing actions taken.
- Performs on-site and telephonic technical services necessary to insure the continuing operation and optimization of the network.
- Ensures adherence to network and security frameworks based on the NIST 800-53 model and PCI (Payment Card Industry) for a financial institution.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience in in network and system security.
Certifications:
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP).
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Previous financial institution experience is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, PCI and CIS Controls Frameworks.
- Experience administrating and managing firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint.
- Experience with email security solutions such as ProofPoint.
- Experience with vulnerability management platform such as Qualys.
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies.
- Experience and/or familiarity with data loss prevention technologies, intrusion detection/prevention platforms, microsegmentation, and other similar security technologies.
- Experience with Proxy Firewalls such as Zscaler and DNS Security such as Vercara.
- Experience with platform hardening tools like Tenable and data compliance tools such as Varonis.
- Experience administrating and managing Cisco Systems routing and switching technologies.
- Experience and/or familiarity with Microsoft365 ecosystem.
- Strong commitment to continuous education on networking concepts and cyber security education.
- Outstanding analytical, verbal and written skills.
- Experience/ability to speak, present and market technical concepts to management.
- Experience with writing system and process documentation.
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours to resolves issues or complete special projects.
- Ability to remain highly adaptable in a growing organization.
- Training in ITIL/IT Service Management processes is desired.
- Experience implementing security standards, policies and procedures.

This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time.
All benefits except 401k start the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
