Credit Union Service Specialist
Job Description:
TELLER DUTIES (Backup):
• Assist members in drive up, or at the front teller line.
• Maintain a cash drawer within credit union guidelines.
• Process teller transactions which may include withdrawals, deposits, Visa advances, loan payments etc.
• Assist guest members with allowed shared branching transactions.
• Process share draft check orders, stop payment, statement, share draft reconciliation and copy request and eService’s.
• Call Center backup.
MEMBER/ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE:
• Provides assistance with all credit union products and services, including IRA’s, business accounts, CD’s Trust Accounts and new accounts.
• Open and maintain new accounts, products and services.
• In addition, troubleshooting and research of accounts in cooperation with other departments if needed.
LOAN SUPPORT:
• Gather basic loan information and if needed, take paper application if needed. Refers to proper person for assistance and action needed.
• Overflow for loan calls if needed.
• Loan file auditing.
• Provide accurate quality services on loan inquires.
• Assist with Blue Book values

• Maintain thorough knowledge of Credit Union philosophy.
