Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Direct all credit union operations, which include planning and implementing programs, policies, and procedures.
  1. Provide strategic and/or administrative direction and management in all credit union functions to include accounting, ALM, business development, budgeting, compliance, facility management, finance, human resources, employee benefits, compensation, investments, liquidity, lending, marketing, operations, retail services, risk management and security, all aspects of contract renewal and evaluation, board communications.
  1. Ensure that the credit union follows the federal laws and regulations set forth by the NCUA and other regulatory agencies.
  1. Conduct business development activities to promote the growth and development of the credit union. Build positive relationships with the field of membership, and with appropriate trade associations and organizations.
  1. Manage the physical and technological security, safety and privacy of the credit union, its staff, the members, and their assets by analyzing all relevant policies and procedures. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Business Administration or a Board of Directors agreed upon equivalent (i.e., High School diploma combined with at least 5 years of financial institution, or related, work experience with increasing leadership responsibilities).
  • Must have good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and enjoy a good challenge!
  • Possess excellent problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize duties and preform them with minimal supervision.
  • Must be skilled in the use of computer technology including software programs: Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to effectively supervise staff and carry out policies as contained in the bylaws, government regulations and as established by the Board of Directors. 

Compensation & Benefits

The credit union is offering a competitive salary and benefits package with a salary range starting at $70,000.  Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan with matching and discretionary contributions.
