Job Description:
The Call Center Financial Service Representative (FSR) at Alhambra Credit Union is crucial in delivering exceptional service to members. This position involves various responsibilities to ensure members receive the best possible experience when interacting with the credit union.
As a Call Center FSR, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls and providing an exceptional experience for members. This includes assisting with their financial needs, answering questions, and resolving any issues they may have. You will need to be able to multitask across different systems to help members and make sure they’re happy with their satisfaction.
Key duties include, managing accounts, opening new accounts, providing information about the credit union’s products and services, assisting members with loan applications, and providing support and guidance on online and mobile banking tools. Ensuring compliance with all credit union policies and procedures is also a critical part of the role.
To be a successful Call Center FSR, you need to meet several specific qualifications:
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. You should also be able to multitask effectively and handle various systems to assist members with their needs.
- Customer Service Orientation: A passion for helping others and providing exceptional service is crucial. You should be able to handle member inquiries and issues with patience and professionalism.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with computer systems and software, including MS Office and call center software, is essential. You should be comfortable navigating different systems to provide efficient service.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly and effectively is a key part of the role.
- Team Player: You should be able to work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best possible service for members.
- Bilingual: Spanish speaker is highly preferred, but not a requirement.
