Business Relationship Manager
Job Description:
We are looking for a Business Relationship Manager to join the Climb team! This position is responsible for the development of new business relationships with current and potential members to achieve Climb CU’s business deposit, service and loan growth targets. The Business Relationship Manager develops and implements business development strategies to meet organizational goals and market conditions. Must be a self-starter who thrives in a highly independent role. Other responsibilities include:
- Supporting and maintaining Climb CU’s service standards.
- Collaborating with branch personnel to meet the needs of business members.
- Maintains and strengthens public relations within the communities served by Climb CU.
- Attends networking and Chamber of Commerce events to create visibility and relationships in the organization’s business footprint.
Requirements
- Responsible for deepening business relationships as well as growing deposits, loans, and other ancillary services. Must develop thorough Climb CU product, service, and systematic knowledge. Develops and implements business development strategies to meet organizational goals and market conditions. Cross-sells business and consumer products and services.
- Responsible for maintaining high product/service delivery knowledge by identifying opportunities for new business development techniques, emerging products, lending strategy and market trends. Responsible for analysis of relevant statistical data, making recommendations when required. Track, measure and report business development efforts. In coordination with supervisor, establishes annual business development plans, including specific targets and budget items.
- Responsible for community outreach efforts including participation in chamber groups. Represents the credit union at various functions to develop business relationships. Supports management with required documentation.
- Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of business relationships with assigned branch personnel. Develops and collaborates with branch personnel to meet targets.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience.
- (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
- Previous experience with financial institutions is required.
This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting annual pay of $75,000.00, depending on experience, education and qualifications.
