Business Development Specialist
Job Description:
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in our mission to be member’s financial partner for life. You will represent PNWFCU in the community, and build relationships with new, current, and potential members. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and works closely with other departments including operations/member service, and accounting.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Prospecting and developing new community relationships for the Credit Union.
-Calling on current members to maintain and deepen relationships.
-Opening new accounts, starting loan applications, and looking for referral opportunities.
-Participating in networking opportunities in the community to develop business relationships.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS
-Two years to five years of similar or related experience,
-Deep knowledge of our products and services,
-The ability to motivate or influence others, and
-The ability to obtain cooperation (internally and/or externally).
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST WORK SCHEDULE
This position usually works M-F, regular business hours, with occasional evenings and weekends for community events. This position requires you to be in the office for one to two days per week.
