Job Description:

Branch Managers are responsible for the operation of their branch, ensuring that we provide exceptional service to members in day-to-day transactions, loan applications and new accounts. As the Branch Manager you will be responsible for the growth of your branch, assisting members and employees with problem solving and following established policies and guidelines. This position will serve as the representative for various community events and activities. You will also be responsible for developing and coaching your team.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Must have at least 3 years’ credit union or banking experience.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory position required.
  • At least 1 year of lending experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and credit check
  • Must be able to register with National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently
  • Skill to operate a 10-key calculator
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to a fluctuating workload
  • Able to work in a fast-paced member driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs
  • Knowledge of cash handling, teller drawer balancing, and posting members’ transactions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Thorough understanding of banking regulations, policies and procedures
  • Ability to work all branch hours to include events outside normal operating hours
  • Ability to complete tasks thoroughly and with attention to detail
