Comprehensive Board Course
The Comprehensive Credit Union Board Course is a partnership series with Ancin Cooley of Synergy Credit Union Consulting to bring you the most robust and engaging training that not only instructs, but also gives your board members access to the video content and resources for a full year. Upon completion, participants will be certified for three years.
Credit Union Development Education (DE) Program™
The Credit Union Development Education (DE) Program is the signature program of the National Credit Union Foundation. It is a transformative and experiential training that promotes the education and application of credit union business principles and philosophy. The mission of the DE Program is to help established and emerging leaders within the credit union movement understand and leverage credit unions’ unique business model to serve members and communities in new and better ways. By completing the DE Program, participants earn their Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation which signifies a competency in understanding and applying DE Program lessons.
CUNA Professional Designations
CUNA offers a wide variety of professional designations to strengthen current abilities and enhance opportunities for advancement. Some designations are also offered as a self-study program so that students can have more flexibility with their busy schedule.

Western CUNA Management School (WCMS)
Western CUNA Management School (WCMS) is recognized in the credit union movement for innovative, intense, hands-on professional development. WCMS is a three year course of study that is designed specifically to develop and enhance leadership skills and serves as a source of professional networking and life-long relationships. A diploma from WCMS has come to be recognized as a distinction and a mark of accomplishment. The American Council on Education’s College Recommendation Service (ACE Credit) has evaluated and recommended college credit for WCMS.
CPE Credit for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs)
The Association is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
