BIOGRAPHY:

Dan LeFree is the President and CEO of Community 1st Credit Union in DuPont, Wash., and is known for his advocacy of climate-centric banking, green lending, and ezSolarLoan CUSO. He is a certified public accountant, has held responsible positions in financial institutions for many years, and was a senior financial institution tax consultant at Deloitte.

Dan is very interested in financial industry trends, especially loan and deposit growth, noninterest income opportunities, CUSOs, and collaboration among credit unions ­– including mergers and acquisitions. He serves on the Washington Governmental Affairs Committee of the GoWest Credit Union Association, the CEO Council of Americas Credit Unions, and is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Society of Certified Public Accountants.
