Amy Kvien is Manager, Financial Institutions within the Ceres Accelerator for Sustainable Capital Markets. In this role, Amy works to reduce the financial risks associated with the climate crisis by encouraging financial institutions to adopt climate risk management policies and decarbonize their lending portfolios.

Prior to Ceres, Amy served as a Climate Change Financial Analyst with the Federal Reserve Board, where she analyzed what G-SIBs were doing about climate change, monitored climate change-related policies of other central banks, and drafted speaking points on climate change for G7 and G20 meetings. Amy also served as a Cash Management Responsibility Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, providing banking and investment services to 250 foreign central banks and international organizations.

Amy has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Richmond and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Sweet Briar College. Amy served on the Board of Directors of the Vegan Awareness Foundation from 2017 through 2021.
