Solarity Credit Union was recently honored with a Selah Community Pride Award at a Selah City Council meeting for its sponsorship of a ball field at Carlon Park. This sponsorship is part of Solarity’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
The Selah Community Pride Award program was established by Mayor Roger Bell to recognize individuals and organizations that are making a difference in the Selah, Wash., community. Solarity’s sponsorship helps support the City of Selah’s efforts to keep its recreational fields in top condition for local athletes, families and community members.
“Solarity’s sponsorship of the ball field at Carlon Park is a great example of a local organization investing in our community,” said Mayor Roger Bell. “These fields are used by so many kids, families, and teams throughout the year, and support from community partners like Solarity helps us keep them in good shape. We’re grateful for their commitment to Selah and proud to recognize them with a Community Pride Award.”
As part of the recognition, Bell presented Solarity representatives with a certificate and Community Pride coin during the City Council meeting.
“We’re proud to support the City of Selah and the families who use Carlon Park,” said Mina Worthington, President and CEO of Solarity. “Sponsoring this field is a small way we can help make sure local kids have a place to play, compete and enjoy time with their families. We’re honored to receive this recognition.”
Through sponsorships, donations, volunteer efforts and community partnerships, Solarity supports local organizations and initiatives throughout Central Washington.
