Horizon Credit Union Donates $5,000 to Partners INW to Support Spokane Complex Fire Relief

Horizon Credit Union has donated $5,000 to Partners INW to support relief and recovery efforts for individuals, families, and communities affected by the Spokane Complex Fires.

As a community-focused financial cooperative, Horizon Credit Union is committed to supporting the communities it serves during times of need. The donation will help Partners INW provide resources and assistance to those impacted by the fires as recovery efforts continue.

“Our hearts are with everyone affected by the Spokane Complex Fires,” said Jeff Adams, CEO of Horizon Credit Union. “These fires have had a significant impact on our communities, and we are grateful for the ongoing efforts of firefighters, first responders and organizations working to assist those affected. Horizon employees have partnered with Partners INW for many years, and when we witnessed their team mobilize so quickly to support families impacted by these devastating fires, we wanted to stand alongside them. Supporting our communities in times of need is at the heart of who we are.”

Representatives from Horizon Credit Union present a $5,000 donation to Partners INW during the organization’s Block Party on Aug. 14. The donation will help support Partners INW’s mission of providing essential resources and services to Inland Northwest families.

In addition to its community support efforts, Horizon Credit Union remains committed to helping members navigate financial challenges that may arise from unexpected hardships. The credit union offers financial assistance programs and hardship loan options designed to help qualified members access support during difficult times. Members experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact Horizon’s team to discuss available options. Horizon also provides hardship assistance for certain existing loan payments, depending on individual circumstances.
