Leadership at Every Level: Executives@Coeur d’Alene Returns This August

Credit union executives from across the GoWest region — and beyond — will gather on Aug. 4-6 at the iconic Coeur d’Alene Resort for Executives@Coeur d’Alene, the highly anticipated leadership experience designed to equip decision-makers with insight, perspective, and strategy for what’s ahead.

Set against the backdrop of Lake Coeur d’Alene, the resort provides an ideal setting for both focused conversation and meaningful connection. Known for its scenic views, world-class amenities, and signature hospitality, the Coeur d’Alene Resort offers a unique environment where executives can step away from day-to-day demands and engage in forward-looking dialogue with peers.

Insightful Speakers, Timely Perspectives

This year’s program features dynamic speakers who will challenge and inspire leaders to think differently about communication, strategy, and the broader economic environment.

Carmen Ohling, CEO and Founder of The Amplified Life Company, will lead a powerful session, “Speak Like a Leader and Lead Like a Visionary: How to Captivate, Communicate, and Be Known for What Matters Most.” Ohling’s work focuses on helping leaders build cultures rooted in trust, ownership, and innovation. Blending emotional intelligence with a modern approach to performance and leadership, she will guide attendees in developing the presence, clarity, and confidence needed to lead effectively from the inside out.

Dr. Lindsey Piegza, Chief Economist at Stifel Financial, will deliver a timely economic update, helping attendees better understand current market dynamics and the trends shaping the road ahead. With deep expertise in global economies, financial markets, and policy, Piegza translates complex economic data into actionable insight, equipping leaders to make informed strategic decisions in an uncertain environment.

A Program Built for Strategy and Action

Beyond keynote sessions, the agenda is designed to turn insight into impact, with interactive discussions and hands-on learning opportunities, including:

  • Taking Economic Trends & Tying Them to Future-Focused Strategy — A workshop designed to help executives connect economic insights to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Advocacy Crisis Response Tabletop Exercise — Led by GoWest staff, this session will walk participants through real-world scenarios, strengthening readiness and response strategies in high-stakes situations.
  • Putting It All Together: Coordinated Strategy Creates High Impact Results — A panel discussion highlighting how alignment across leadership, advocacy, and communications drives meaningful outcomes.

Together, these sessions offer practical tools and peer perspectives to help executives navigate complexity, respond to change, and lead with confidence.
