Candidate Filing Opens Today in Wyoming

Today is the official opening of candidate filing period in Wyoming. The period runs through May 29 when any individuals interested in public office must file.

As the slate of candidates firms up, GoWest will be determining which races to engage in.

The deadline for changing party affiliation was May 13 for existing registered voters. Citizens not registered to vote have until August 3 to register or may register at their polling place on Primary Election Day, August 18.

Wyoming’s legislative seats will largely be decided on August 18, so it is important to participate in Wyoming’s primary election.
