22nd Annual Co-Op Luncheon

Each year, Oregon Cooperatives get together during “legislative days” in the Oregon State Capitol to promote Cooperatives in Oregon.  This year over 100 attendees including legislators, legislative staff, soon-to-be newly sworn in legislators and cooperative representatives met for what is known as “the best lunch in town,” primarily because of the Oregon prime rib and Tillamook Ice Cream.

The hosts of the Annual luncheon were:

GoWest Credit Union Association
The Oregon Broadband Association
Oregon Rural Electric Cooperative Association
NW Agriculture Cooperative Council

It is a great time to talk about cooperative principles and promote Oregon credit unions.

Thank you to these credit union representatives for attending:

Stacie Wyss-Schoenborn, Central Willamette CU
Crystal Garrison, Fibre Federal CU
Rachel Pross and David Deckelman, MAPS CU

Kelle Summerfield and Michael Savory, OnPoint Community CU
Laurie Roe, Oregon State CU
Amy Nelson, Point West CU
Kylie Rogers, Rivermark CU
Steve McIntire, SELCO
Traci McGlathery, STCU
Prashanth Arulsakaran, Trailhead CU
Pat Force and Katie Clark, Valley CU
Pam Leavitt and John Trull, GoWest Credit Union Assoc.

New this year: attendees were asked to stay standing for the number of cooperatives they belong to and the person from Salem Electric, who won, belongs to 7 Oregon cooperatives!
