Are you a young professional looking to build your leadership skills, connect with industry influencers, and shape the future of the Credit Union Movement? The YP Leads program at MAXX 2025 is your opportunity to do just that.

Each year, 18 emerging leaders are chosen to attend MAXX — not just to participate, but to truly engage in a transformative experience focused on learning, networking, and personal growth. This program goes beyond simply attending a conference — it’s about unlocking your potential and expanding your influence in the industry.

Application Deadline is June 20

Selected YP Leads — three from each GoWest state — will receive free registration to MAXX 2025, held in Portland, Ore., to attend impactful sessions, connect with fellow professionals, and join an exclusive orientation with GoWest staff. They’ll also be inspired by a keynote speaker and have the chance to share their own stories.

Yearlong Mentorship That Makes a Difference

What sets YP Leads apart is its commitment to meaningful mentorship. Each YP Lead is paired with a dedicated mentor who works with them to create a personalized development plan during MAXX. This yearlong partnership helps guide the YP Lead’s professional journey and strengthen their role in the Credit Union Movement.

How to Apply

Interested candidates will be asked to complete a short application that includes a few questions, a personal essay, a brief video, and a letter of endorsement from a supervisor or credit union leader. A panel made up of former YP Leads and mentors — all passionate about developing the next generation of credit union leaders — will review the applications and select the 2025 cohort. Final selections will be announced in July.
