Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Needs Assessment & Program Development (25%)
• Partner with organizational leaders to assess staff development needs in alignment with business objectives.
• Develop user-friendly tools and resources for business leaders, facilitators, and HR partners.
Content Design & eLearning Integration (20%)
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to design engaging eLearning and instructor-led course materials.
• Support integration of eLearning with other initiatives, incorporating multimedia elements and staying updated on eLearning trends.
Training Facilitation & Delivery (20%)
• Conduct live and virtual training sessions, including new employee orientation, product-specific training, compliance, and procedural knowledge.
• Provide training for new products, services, and processes, representing training in enterprise-wide projects.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement (15%)
• Administer and analyze assessments to ensure comprehension and retention of training materials.
• Continuously review and update course curriculum based on feedback and effectiveness.
External Training & Leadership Development (10%)
• Participate in selecting, promoting, and delivering external leadership and sales training programs.
• Ensure alignment of training initiatives with organizational goals.
Compliance & Reporting (10%)
• Measure, track, and report on training effectiveness, providing insights to management.
• Ensure all training adheres to CWCU policies, as well as State and Federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong Project Management skills, highly detail oriented, demonstrated ability to meet project timelines.
• Proficiency in multimedia tools and software, technical proficiency in eLearning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Excellent communication verbal and written.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, adept at tailoring approach to diverse audiences
• Proficient in delivering clear feedback and ensuring follow-through to achieve desired outcomes.
• Skilled in curriculum design and development, employing adult learning principles to facilitate experiential learning.
• Demonstrates professionalism in interactions with management, staff, and external contacts.
• Exhibits discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Experienced in coaching and mentoring, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to drive performance improvements.
• Possesses effective leadership, negotiation, and consulting abilities.
• Works well independently and as a collaborative team member, fostering internal relationships.
• Sets goals and objectives effectively and adapts and adjusts to changing priorities.
• Skilled in research and data analysis, making recommendations, and delivering results to meet organizational goals.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in education technology, Instructional Design, Multimedia Design or other related discipline or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years in a training specialist role, experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years in Instructional Design, at least 1 year of dedicated eLearning experience.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Schoox, UKG Ready a plus.
• Technical proficiency in media development and eLearning platforms, such as, Articulate Storyline / RISE 360, Easy Generator, SCORM authoring tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia
