Personal Financial Representative III
Job Description:
Role: The PFR III promotes member financial well-being through engaging members in meaningful conversations to resolve financial inquiries, enrich the member’s experience and deepen their relationship with the Credit Union. This position processes transactions, handles cash, account maintenance and/or troubleshooting, assists with new memberships and various account and lending offerings, assists with business memberships and business account maintenance, and educates members on Credit Union products and services. Assists Branch Leadership with monitoring daily functions to provide performance training and supports the team through accepting complex member inquires.
Pay: The pay for this position is $25.11/HR
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Assists members, guest members and potential members with their account inquiries, performs cash and non-cash transactions and account maintenance while actively listening to and inquiring about needs with the objective of providing the ultimate member experience and value-added solutions.
- Assists members and potential members with new credit union memberships, consumer and business account and lending inquiries. Opens, closes, converts and/or maintains member accounts, receives and processes applications for all consumer lending offerings, and partners across business lines, referring members as appropriate, with the objective of enriching the member experience and deepening their relationship with CapEd.
- Supports the team by accepting escalated member inquiries and works directly with members to research and explore potential solutions to provide alternatives within company policy. If needed, researches inquiries further or transfers request to other areas of the Credit Union to provide a solution.
- Balances cash, checks and completes daily transactions, account maintenance, and loan applications with minimal errors.
- Provides support and guidance to staff to make appropriate decisions and operate within parameters. Provides overrides and approvals as needed. Assists with day-to-day operations of the branch as assigned.
- Assists with department training for current or new employees and for other departments by sharing knowledge and expertise of internal procedures and, effect of regulations on processes, helping employees be confident in job functions, products and services.
- Maintains knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, and promotions.
- Contributes to efficient Credit Union operations by performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have experience using computers and MS Office software.
Education: A high school education or GED.
