Linn-Co Federal Credit Union Is Now 44 North Credit Union

Oregon-based Linn-Co Federal Credit Union recently became 44 North Credit Union and changed its field of membership to those who live and work in Linn, Benton, Deschutes, Lane, Lincoln, and Marion counties. 

“This milestone isn’t just about a change in name,” said Jeff Elliott, 44 North’s CEO in an email to members. “It signifies our collective dedication to progress and better serving you, our esteemed members. Embracing our new identity as 44 North Credit Union symbolizes our mutual pursuit of financial empowerment and advancement, inspired by the vibrant essence of the Pacific Northwest.” 

“Our new name and brand reflect our ongoing commitment to innovation, growth, and community engagement,” Elliott shared. 

The name 44 North was chosen as 44 North is the latitude of the new field of membership counties; the 45th parallel marks the halfway point between the Equator and the North Pole.
