Job Description:

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Systems Analysis & Product Management

  • Serve as a technology/product administrator, liaison, and expert for assigned departments and key business stakeholders.
  • Collaboratively work to define, prioritize, and oversee, and implement product maintenance, upgrades, feature enhancements, and new functionality for assigned enterprise solutions.
  • Work closely with credit union stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to the assigned technology portfolio and solutions.
  • Assess existing enterprise solutions and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of enterprise solutions and assigned products to determine requirements, system capabilities, and technical feasibility to inform business and technical owner decisions.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology colleagues and teams to design innovative and scalable technology solutions that fully address business needs, gaps, and requirements to align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Query and analyze data from multiple enterprise solutions and/or product data, feedback, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform roadmap decisions.
  • Lead and/or participate in department or enterprise projects related to enterprise solution and product/application enhancements, upgrades, and implementations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
  • Develop test plans and perform testing to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of credit union technical solutions and products.
  • Establish meaningful relationships with business stakeholders and product owners to ensure a seamless and intuitive end-user experience to best support the credit union’s members.
  • Research, evaluate, liaise, and coordinate with third-party vendors to implement and integrate third-party solutions and services as needed, as well as ensuring technical feasibility and compatibility.
  • Create project specifications and partner with business stakeholders to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Support change management activities for assigned enterprise solutions by communicating change, training end-users, and providing ongoing support, maintenance, and guidance.
  • Develop, create, and maintain comprehensive enterprise solution documentation including business requirements, user guides, functional specifications, training materials, user stories, and process diagrams to support IT teams and internal end-users.
  • Remain informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend and implement continuous improvements and enhancements to enterprise solutions, applications, and products.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues reported by end-users or business stakeholders, providing timely resolution and support.
  • Work with IT and business stakeholders to manage integrations between credit union systems, products, and applications, to include third-party services; ensure data integrity and seamless data flow between environments.

Our pay values are reflected in our compensation philosophy which rewards individual performance and the potential to contribute to our teams’ overall success long-term.

The full pay range for this position across all the states in which we hire is $69,251-$110,801. The figures shown represent the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s experience, education, and skill level.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Related and relevant work experience may be substituted for education. Proven experience of three years as a Business, Systems, or Technical Analyst, preferably in the financial service industry with credit union familiarity and regulated industries.
  • Minimum three years of experience specifically in systems, product, application, and data analysis.
  • Strong experience implementing and supporting lending, retail, and/or commercial financial products, applications, or services, to include experience with data analysis, integration, quality, and validation.

Minimum of two years performing the following:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with software development concepts, database, APIs, and web-based technologies.

Preferred:

  • Experience with database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, Agile, Six Sigma) and knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C+, or Python.

Capabilities

  • Competencies in identifying functional and non-functional use-case scenarios to understand how end-users will interact with enterprise applications or products.
  • Strong project management competencies, to include documentation tools to create and maintain processes.
  • Strong competencies in understanding data life cycle processes, as well mapping of both technical and business processes
  • Thinks critically, analytically, and solves problems under pressure.
  • Highly capable to read, analyze, and interpret general business processes, periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations.
  • Writes reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively presents information to organizational leaders and responds to questions from groups of managers, directors, and employees regarding technology issues, project/initiative effort, and practices in both a technical and non-technical manner.
  • Defines problems, collect, and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions supporting business objectives.
  • Clearly explains complicated procedures in simple and understandable manner (both oral and written).
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to manage changing priorities.

To perform the essential functions of this position an employee must be able to meet the following work place demands: ability to converse with others, detect sound, identify and detect objects, count, read, write, operate a computer, handle and feel objects, reach with hands/arms and be stationary and/or stand and/or move for long periods of time. Occasionally an employee will lift/pull/push and carry up to 25 to 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and be able to maintain balance doing these activities.
