Job Description:

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Develop and maintain a compelling multi-channel content marketing strategy aligned with Horizon’s brand identity and member journey
  • Own the content marketing calendar, ensuring consistent and strategic content delivery across all channels
  • Coordinate content creation to meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and accuracy, either independently or with stakeholders
  • Optimize content creation using storytelling principles to engage audiences effectively
  • Conduct audience research to evolve content strategies and messaging aligned with business objectives
  • Identify trends, opportunities and audience preferences to deepen member relationships and attract new members
  • Measure and report on the impact of content marketing efforts to management
  • Cultivate productive relationships across business lines and stakeholder groups to support content creation needs
  • Enhance web content publishing strategy for better conversions, collaborate on website enhancements and elevate website editorial standards
  • Collaborate to solidify reporting on web traffic, SEO visibility and user journeys
  • Partner with other stakeholders to leverage content marketing in online banking channels for targeted segments
  • Implement and deploy the email marketing content strategy in partnership with stakeholders
  • Provide expertise on digital signage strategy and administrate content strategy across screens
  • Act as primary contact for troubleshooting digital signage issues and provide escalation when necessary

The full pay range for this position across all the states in which we hire is $25.24-$38.36. The figures shown represent the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s experience, education, and skill level.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Public Relations, Content Management, Information Management, Business, or equivalent experience required. Minimum three years of experience generating, writing, and managing content marketing campaigns including email, websites, blogs, SEO, newsletters, SMS, and social media. Financial industry experience preferred.

Capabilities

  • Strong creative thinking and compelling storytelling skills with an eye for detail and creativity required
  • Strategic and tactical mindset with strong problem-solving skills required
  • Web content publishing skills required. Understanding of the web development process preferred
  • A well-developed understanding of SEO and content optimization required
  • Demonstrated email marketing skills required. HTML experience highly preferred
  • Video editing skills preferred
  • Demonstratable research and analytical skills required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective time management and ability to deliver high-quality content on schedule
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business and user needs into content solutions required
  • Proven record of developing new ideas and creative solutions required

ABLE TO

To perform the essential functions of this position an employee must be able to meet the following workplace demands: the ability to converse with others, detect sound, identify, and detect objects, count, read, write, operate a computer, handle, and feel objects, reach with hands/arms and be stationary and/or stand and/or move for long periods. Occasionally an employee will lift/pull/push and carry up to 25 to 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and be able to maintain balance doing these activities. The position requires sound reasoning, good judgment, and the ability to apply knowledge to work activities. The noise level is moderate and typical of a normal office environment.
