Job Description:

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Systems Analysis & Product Management

  • Serve as the end-to-end lead technologist, liaison, and expert assigned to the credit union’s core financial system(s).
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the credit union’s ERP and core financial application by overseeing maintenance, upgrades, and optimization.
  • Develop and implement job scheduler and system customizations, workflows, and automation scripts to meet business requirements.
  • Collaboratively work to define, prioritize, oversee, and implement ERP maintenance, upgrades, feature enhancements, and new functionality for assigned enterprise solutions.
  • Work closely with credit union stakeholders, including developers, architects, and engineers to design technology solutions that address business needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend software applications, ERP customizations, and/or tools to address business and technical needs surrounding efficiencies and optimizations for enterprise solutions and processes.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to support decision-making and solution implementation.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology colleagues and teams to design innovative and scalable technology solutions that fully address business needs, gaps, and requirements to align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct complex data analysis to address business needs and inquiries surrounding financial product data, feedback, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform roadmap decisions.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency in partnership with key business stakeholders for decision-making, risk management issues, and merger-related activities.
  • Lead and/or participate in department or enterprise projects related to enterprise solution and product/application enhancements, upgrades, and implementations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
  • Develop test plans and perform testing to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of credit union technical solutions and products.
  • Establish meaningful relationships with business stakeholders and product owners to ensure a seamless and intuitive end-user experience to best support the credit union’s members.
  • Oversee the integration, configuration, and maintenance for all third-party integrations into the ERP (core), ensuring data integrity, interoperability, and scalability.
  • Create project specifications and partner with business stakeholders to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Support change management activities for assigned enterprise solutions by communicating change, training end-users, and providing ongoing support, maintenance, and guidance.
  • Develop, create, and maintain comprehensive enterprise solution documentation including business requirements, user guides, functional specifications, training materials, user stories, and process diagrams to support IT teams and internal end-users.
  • Remain informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend and implement continuous improvements and enhancements to enterprise solutions, applications, and products.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues reported by end-users or business stakeholders, providing timely resolution and support.
  • Work with IT and business stakeholders to manage integrations between credit union systems, products, and applications, to include third-party services; ensure data integrity and seamless data flow between environments.

The full pay range for this position across all the states in which we hire is $73,438- $117,502.   The figures shown represent the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s experience, education, and skill level.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Related and relevant work experience may be substituted for education. Proven experience of at least five years as a Senior Analyst or Business, Systems, or Technical Analyst, preferably in the financial service industry with credit union familiarity and regulated industries.
  • Minimum five to seven years of experience specifically in systems, product, third-party application and integration(s), and complex data analysis.
  • At least three years of experience managing or administering core financial systems (ERPs), to include financial product configuration; job creation, management, and automation; data analysis, integration, quality, and validation.

Minimum of five years performing the following:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with software development concepts, databases, APIs and/or other third-party integrations, and web-based technologies.

Required:

  • Experience with database management systems (e.g. DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
  • Hands-on experience using multiple programming languages, such as Java, C+, Python, ASP.Net, etc.

Preferred:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, CAPM, Agile, Six Sigma) and knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C+, or Python.
  • Experience performing data system migration, conversions, and/or deconversions preferred.
