OnPoint Community Credit Union’s Amy Reeves Honored as a 2024 Woman of Influence

Amy Reeves, vice president and Southwest Washington area manager at OnPoint Community Credit Union, has been named as one of the Portland Business Journal’s prestigious 2024 Women of Influence honorees. To be selected for this award, an individual must be considered an established business leader with a strong record of innovation in her field, outstanding performance in her business and a clear track record of meaningful community involvement.

Amy, who has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, began her career at OnPoint nearly 20 years ago and has been integral to building the credit union’s footprint. Since taking over the leadership of OnPoint’s Southwest Washington branches in 2015, she has helped strengthen OnPoint’s presence in Southwest Washington, providing leadership for the original five branches and supporting regional growth with the opening of three new branches in the area.

Passionate about giving back to the community and enacting change, Amy serves as the vice president of the Southwest Washington Chapter of Credit Unions, the vice president of the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools and a member of the board of the Parks Foundation of Clark County. Through her community involvement, Amy has helped to identify broader opportunities for OnPoint to partner with local organizations and support important causes.

Even with her many professional and community commitments, Amy makes it a priority to personally connect with OnPoint members in need of financial guidance. And, to broaden her impact, she has partnered with local media outlets on several occasions to increase financial literacy across the community, sharing tips and tricks to help members and nonmembers meet their financial goals.

In addition to receiving the 2024 Women of Influence award, she’s earned multiple community accolades during her time at OnPoint. In 2023, Amy received the Iris Award from the Greater Vancouver Chamber, and through her leadership OnPoint was recognized with the J. Scott Campbell Award from the Parks Foundation of Clark County.

For the 21st year in a row, the Portland Business Journal is celebrating women across the region who are making an impact, cultivating change and bringing the community together.
