Ore.-based Forrit Credit Union announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Aaron Goff as President and CEO, effective June 1. A seasoned credit union executive with more than 30 years of industry experience, including 17 years as a CEO, Goff has led organizations through growth, transformation, and strategic change while maintaining a strong focus on culture, community impact, and member service.
Wendy Russell has been serving as Interim CEO since the departure of former CEO Justin Olson, who stepped down in October 2025. The Board conducted a comprehensive search process before selecting Goff to lead the credit union into the next phase of transformation and growth.
“I am honored and excited to join the team at Forrit Credit Union and to serve its members and the broader community,” said Goff. “Credit unions play a unique role in improving people’s financial lives, and I look forward to building on the organization’s strong mission, culture, and commitment to member service. Together, we will continue strengthening relationships, supporting our community, and positioning the credit union for long-term success.”
Goff is a community leader, volunteer, and champion of financial and social equity, serving on the board of directors for organizations like Albertina Kerr, Special Olympics, and the Clackamas Community College Foundation.
