Colorado Credit Unions Meet With Senator Michael Bennet

Colorado credit union advocates met with Senator and gubernatorial candidate Michael Bennet at Westerra Credit Union in Denver. Leaders thanked Bennet for his longtime support of credit unions, especially for the more than 2.8 million Coloradans who are members of a credit union.

The conversation included gaining insights into Bennet’s plan for the state should he win his bid for the Governor’s seat. They highlighted ongoing key priorities, including protecting credit unions in the state, and working with the state’s regulatory agencies. They also thanked the Senator for his support in securing the release of appropriated funding for the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) program.
