Credit Unions at the Women’s Caucus

Credit unions were well represented at the Wyoming Women’s Legislative Caucus event last week by Adele Gardner, Meridian Trust FCU, Andrea Valois, WyHy FCU, Rebecca Thoe-Heuer, Mary Salas, Kim Alexander and Michele Bolkovatz, Blue FCU.

Bobbie Frank joined Garnder and Valois Wednesday evening for the annual dinner attended by about 150 organization representatives, state elected officials, and legislators.

The event is aimed at bringing awareness to issues affecting women and families in Wyoming and encouraging leadership development and participation. Topics included navigating the executive branch, advocating for Wyoming’s women and girls and a tour of the state capitol.

While they were in the capitol, Thoe-Heuer and Salas joined Frank in the lobby of the Senate to share their stories of members who have been subject to fraud involving a crypto kiosk.
