Small Business Emergency Loan Program Rules Adopted
Posted by Bobbie Frank on December 4, 2025
The State Loan and Investment Board, consisting of Wyoming’s top five elected officials, adopted the final Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program rules today. The Board incorporated one change to the rules as requested by GoWest Credit Union Association and recommended by the Director.
The proposed rules included a requirement that small businesses provide three years of “audited” financial statements. GoWest recommended that the word “audited” be deleted from the final rule.
Stacia Berry, Director of the State Land Office, reported to the Board that only three financial institutions had registered with their office to participate in offering the program, and all three are credit unions. As of October 31, 2025, no loan requests have been received or approved.
The final rules are available here.
