Joel Keller Joins Numerica Credit Union as Chief Financial Officer

Numerica Credit Union, headquartered in Washington’s Spokane Valley, introduced Joel Keller as its new Chief Financial Officer on Oct. 23. Keller brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience spanning both the credit union and banking sectors. His background in guiding organizations through growth and transformation, along with his deep commitment to member-focused service, makes him a valuable addition to Numerica’s executive team.

As CFO, Keller will oversee Numerica’s finance, treasury, accounting, legal, and risk functions — ensuring Numerica’s continued financial strength and ability to invest in members and communities.

“Joel’s experience as CFO for both credit unions and banks brings a unique perspective to Numerica’s leadership team,” said Carla Cicero, Numerica President and CEO. “His focus on sustainable financial strength and member value will help advance our mission of enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams, and building communities.”

Keller most recently served as CFO and Executive Vice President at 1st Capital Bank in California. His prior leadership roles include serving as CFO at Liberty Bay Credit Union, Liberty Bank, Charter Private Bank, and First Federal Bank.

“Having served in chief finance roles at both credit unions and banks throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand the difference a people-first mission can make,” said Keller. “Numerica’s commitment to empowering members and strengthening communities is what drew me here. I’m excited to help ensure the organization’s financial strength supports that mission for years to come.”

Keller holds a master’s degree in finance from Seattle University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Whitman College.
