Landings Credit Union Announces Cecilia Ashe as New President & CEO

The Landings Credit Union Board of Directors has named Cecilia Ashe as Chief Executive Officer, following the completion of a comprehensive search process.
“The Landings Credit Union Board of Directors is excited to announce Cecilia Ashe as its new CEO,” said Eric Emmert, Chair of the Landings Board. “We know Cecilia will take Landings to the next level while respecting the organization’s education heritage and internal culture.”
Ashe brings more than 40 years of experience in financial services, with proven leadership across lending, marketing, and operations. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University Graduate School of Banking and has completed numerous leadership development programs.
Since stepping into the Interim CEO role earlier this year at the Tempe, Ariz.-based credit union, Ashe has guided the organization with stability, vision, and a deep commitment to member service. Her professional strengths are matched by her dedication to community engagement, with active involvement in organizations such as The Centers for Habilitation, Prestamos Women’s Business Center, and the AZ Microcredit Initiative.
“I am honored and excited to lead our credit union into a new era of growth. Together, we’ll build strong ambassadors, deliver exceptional member service, and remain grounded in our roots as an institution founded by educators,” shared Ashe reflecting on her permanent appointment “We will continue to support our youth, honor our long-time members, welcome prospective members, and reach out to underserved communities. Guided by the credit union philosophy of people helping people, we will ensure that every member has access to the tools, resources, and service they deserve.”
The Board expressed its confidence in Ashe’s leadership and excitement for the future. With this appointment, Landings Credit Union reaffirms its commitment to its mission, members, and community for the years ahead.
