Columbia Credit Union Welcomes New Board Directors Billy Henry and Sean Gregory

Columbia Credit Union welcomed two new members to its board of directors in community leaders Billy Henry and Sean Gregory — both prominent figures in the area’s nonprofit and business sectors.

Henry is a passionate advocate for individuals who are blind and visually impaired. Legally blind since birth, his entrepreneurial spirit emerged early when, at just 15 years old, he founded the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) to create opportunities for himself and others to participate in sports and physical activity. Today, the NWABA empowers participants to build confidence, develop self-esteem, and thrive in all areas of life across the Northwest.

Henry holds a BA in Public Affairs from Washington State University and currently serves as President and CEO of NWABA. His commitment to community extends beyond his professional roles — he serves on the Board of Directors for the Columbia River Economic Development Council and as Vice Chair of Ginn Gives.

His leadership and impact have been recognized with numerous honors, including the 2023 Portland Business Journal 40 Under 40 award, the 2017 Nonprofit Network of SW Washington Excellence Award, and the 2013 Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Community Champion award.

“When I met with Billy a couple of years ago, he shared that Columbia Credit Union had given him one of the very first donations to the newly founded Northwest Association of Blind Athletes,” said Lindsey Salvestrin, Columbia Credit Union President and CEO. “It’s a wonderful full-circle moment to see how far he and the organization have come since then, and we’re thrilled he’s now joined Columbia Credit Union’s board.”

Sean Gregory is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with a passion for building strong organizations and stronger communities. He is the owner of Atlantic and Pacific Freightways, a flatbed trucking company headquartered in Clark County, Wash., and also leads A&P Freight Services, a sister company providing nationwide freight brokerage solutions.

Before entering the transportation industry, Gregory served as Chief Executive of PeaceHealth’s Columbia Network, where he led healthcare operations across Southwest Washington. His career spans over two decades in healthcare leadership, including executive roles at Health First, SCL Health, and SSM Health Care.

Gregory holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University and dual master’s degrees in Hospital and Healthcare Administration and Human Resource Management/Organizational Development from Washington University in St. Louis.

Deeply committed to community service, Gregory serves on the boards of Identity Clark County and the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Washington, volunteers with Walk & Knock, and is an usher at New Heights Church.

“Sean brings a blend of executive leadership, entrepreneurial drive, and deep community commitment to everything he does,” said Salvestrin. “His experience leading complex organizations and his passion for serving others make him an incredible asset to Columbia Credit Union’s Board of Directors, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the team.”
