Elevations Credit Union, which serves communities along Colorado’s Front Range, recently announced a donation of $10,000 to the Alliance for Suicide Prevention (ASP) of Larimer County.
Alliance for Suicide Prevention provides peer outreach to communities impacted by suicide, grief support, awareness of suicide risk and prevention, and training for suicide prevention. Colorado consistently ranks in the top 10 states for annual deaths by suicide.
“Whether it’s a young person reaching out because they’re worried about a friend, a parent concerned for their child, or someone navigating the pain of losing a loved one to suicide, relationships with organizations like Elevations make it possible for us to keep showing up,” said DeeAnne Zuhlke, Development Director of Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County.
“We are so pleased to offer Alliance for Suicide Prevention, such a vital organization in our community, this donation,” said Aimee Sundstrom, who leads community events at Elevations. “I hope our shared value of supporting mental health ripples throughout our communities.”
