Wyoming Interim Committee Hearings Kick Off

Wyoming’s interim legislative committee meetings kick off this week. The Joint Transportation committee will meet this Thursday May 1 in Casper.  In keeping with the action of the Management Council, the committee scaled back their two-day meeting to a one-day meeting and moved it from Sheridan to Casper to save resources.

The committee will receive their typical agency updates, including one from the Department of Transportation which will include an update on the implementation of the electronic lien and titling legislation passed this session.

The Department has reached out to representatives of the various groups, including credit unions, who participated in the electronic titling working group to solicit feedback on the request for proposal the department will release.
