Elevations Credit Union Named as a National Top Workplace for Second Consecutive Year

Elevations Credit Union received a national Top Workplaces 2025 award from USA Today. Ranked as a top employer, Elevations outperformed more than 85 percent of similar-sized organizations (500-999 employees), and of approximately 360 total organizations recognized in this category, the credit union is one of only 14 Colorado-based organizations and the only one headquartered in Boulder.

“We are deeply honored and thrilled to be acknowledged as one of the nation’s leading workplaces,” said Gerry Agnes, President and CEO of Elevations. “Our goal is to create the best work environment our employees have ever experienced, and it’s incredibly gratifying to see our efforts recognized.”

The list and rankings are determined solely by employee feedback gathered through a 2024 survey administered by a third party, Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to organizational success.

This is the second time Elevations has been selected as a national Top Workplace. Additionally, the credit union was recognized in Top Workplaces 2023 and 2024 as a national leader in the financial services industry. The credit union was specifically recognized in the following cultural categories: compensation and benefits, innovation, leadership, purpose and values, professional development, employee well-being, employee appreciation, and work-life flexibility. In 2024, Elevations was also recognized for DE&I practices.

In 2024, Elevations Credit Union was also ranked second in the state for its size category by the Denver Post’s Top Workplaces award. Additionally, the organization is a two-time winner of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the only presidential recognition for performance excellence that a U.S. organization can receive.

“It’s truly amazing to witness our employees feeling acknowledged and appreciated,” said Tammy Teitscheid, Chief People Officer at Elevations. “When individuals believe they are making a meaningful impact and are driven by a shared purpose, everyone benefits.”

Elevations offers a competitive benefits package, hybrid options for support staff, volunteer time off, self-led employee resource groups centered on women, mental health, the LGBTQ+ community, the Hispanic community, working parents, African Americans, and veterans.

The organization also offers frequent feedback touchpoints throughout an employee’s tenure. For professional development, the organization offers free LinkedIn Learning courses, work mentorship, and shadowing. Elevations also frequently promotes employees from within the organization.
