LCCU Pays It Forward With $10,000 Donation

LCCU, which serves members throughout Washington and in five northern counties in Idaho, recently received $10,000 from Velera’s (PSCU’s) Credit Union Give Back Sweepstakes and chose to donate the prize to the Jackson’s Pay It Forward Foundation (JPIFF).

JPIFF is a nonprofit organization that assists families who have children with serious illness or injury. From its inception 18 years ago, through September 2024, the foundation has provided over $1.1 million in assistance to more than 225 families.

“We chose Jackson’s Pay It Forward Foundation because, at LCCU, we believe ‘paying it forward’ is very influential, and we encourage others to do the same,” shared Trisha Baker, President and CEO of LCCU.

During this Velera promotion, that ran between July and October, credit union members earned the opportunity to win $5,000 by using their rewards cards on everyday purchases. In addition, ten credit unions were also randomly selected to win $10,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.
