Numerica Awards $20,000 in Scholarships Students

In June, $20,000 in scholarships were distributed to 16 students through Numerica Credit Union’s $tarting Off Right Scholarship. The annual scholarship program assists graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education in a trade, vocational, certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree program.

This need-based scholarship supports individuals who share Numerica’s commitment to enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams, and building communities and is open to members in Washington and North Idaho.

“Numerica is passionate about helping students achieve their dreams,” said Kim Pearman-Gillman, Numerica’s Senior Vice President of Equity and Community Development. “We understand that continuing your education is an investment; one that we believe will make a difference in these young members’ lives.”

In addition to ongoing financial education efforts, since 2016 Numerica has offered more than $235,000 in scholarships to support its members. This year, 16 scholarships for $1,250 were awarded across the region Numerica serves.
