For more than three decades, as CNN White House Correspondent, CNBC Chief Washington Correspondent, and Wall Street Journal Political Editor, John Harwood has covered the White House, Congress, national politics, and the economy.

John is a widely-respected nonpartisan expert in presidential politics and an admired voice in American homes renowned for his compelling explorations into headline-grabbing events in Washington. He has conducted must-see interviews with every president from George H.W. Bush to Joe Biden and received an Emmy nomination for his town hall with President Barack Obama.
