Horizons North Credit Union Names Brian Resch as New President and CEO

Horizons North Credit Union, based in Westminster, Colorado, has appointed Brian Resch as its new President and CEO. Resch will step into the role on May 15, 2024, succeeding retiring President and CEO Bradley H. Harvey.

“The Board was very happy with the quality of candidates that we were able to interview for Mr. Harvey’s replacement,” said Rob Webber, chair of HNCU’s Board of Directors. “The pool of talent we interviewed were all very highly qualified and all could have done the job. However, we all believe that Mr. Resch is the best fit for our staff, the board, and, most importantly, our members. We have high confidence that Brian will provide excellent leadership for HNCU for years to come!”

Resch has a rich background in financial services and excels as a credit union leader with deep ties to the community. After interning at a credit union during one summer in college, Resch developed a strong passion for credit unions and the “people helping people” philosophy. He moved from Pennsylvania more than 25 years ago to join the Colorado Credit Union Movement.

Resch most recently served as EVP of Consumer Banking at Premier Members Credit Union. During his time there, he implemented key strategies for members across all delivery channels and also led the consumer lending and mortgage teams. Prior to his time at Premier Members, Resch served as CEO at Coors Credit Union (now OnTap) and Credit Union of the Rockies cultivating strong community relationships and innovative products and processes at each one.
