Elevations Credit Union Allies with NAMMBA to Champion Social Impact Lending

Elevations Credit Union announces its recognition as a NAMMBA (National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America) Accredited Social Impact Lender™ (ASIL). This designation signifies its dedication to serving diverse communities and promoting equitable access to homeownership opportunities.

Only the top 5% of mortgage lenders receive the ASIL designation. Achieving it involves a comprehensive assessment of a mortgage lender’s engagement with multicultural markets. It assesses such work in four areas: market data, multicultural marketing, talent acquisition, and social impact.

“Our mortgage team is deeply honored to receive this designation. We’re committed to creating a positive social impact, and this recognition helps us to continue fighting for a more equitable and inclusive financial landscape,” said Elizabeth Million, Senior Vice President of Lending at Elevations.

NAMMBA, a leading advocate for diversity and inclusion in the mortgage industry, established the ASIL program to recognize organizations committed to making a positive social impact through their lending practices.

Through its collaboration with NAMMBA, Elevations Credit Union will actively participate in initiatives aimed at expanding access to mortgage financing for underserved communities, providing financial education and resources, and promoting diversity and inclusion within the mortgage industry.

“We are thrilled to welcome Elevations Credit Union as an Accredited Social Impact Lender,” said Tony Thompson, CEO of NAMMBA. “Their dedication to social responsibility and commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion align perfectly with NAMMBA’s mission. Together, we will work to create positive change and empower individuals and families from all backgrounds to achieve the dream of homeownership.”
