Celebrating Success at ACU GAC: A Big Shout-Out to Our CULAC Trustees!

We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news from our recent participation at the ACU Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC). Our CULAC trustees played a pivotal role in leading our fundraising efforts, resulting in an extraordinary achievement. In just four days, we raised an impressive $26,787, marking a remarkable 467% increase from 2023. This incredible success wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our esteemed CULAC trustees.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to:

– Jay Curtis, CEO, First CU – Arizona

– Arick Williams, CEO, Columbine CU – Colorado

– Dan Thurman, CEO, Frontier CU – Idaho

– Stacie Wyss-Schoenborn, CEO, Central Willamette CU – Oregon

– Mina Worthington, Solarity CU – Washington

– Brian Rohrbacher, CEO, Atlantic City FCU – Wyoming

These trustees have modeled an unwavering commitment to our advocacy efforts and it is truly commendable. Their leadership has significantly contributed to our collective success.

Additionally, congratulations to congratulate Debbie Janusee from First CU for being the PAC Sweepstakes Grand Prize winner. We also extend congratulations to the state winners: Cherish Flint from WECU, Brandon Michaels from OneAZ CU, and Mike Williams from Colorado CU.

These achievements underscore the importance of collaboration and investment in our movement through advocacy. It’s inspiring to witness the dedication and passion of our community coming together to make a meaningful impact.

Let’s continue to build on this momentum and drive positive change for our credit union movement and members.
