AZ529 Future Career Art Contest

Next month, Arizona State Treasurer, Kimberly Yee, will be hosting the AZ529 Future Career Art Contest for K-6 graders, and has asked us to spread the word to Arizona credit unions so you can share this information with your members.

The contest, now in its third year, invites children to express their future career aspirations through art. The submission period starts on January 29, 2024, and the deadline is March 3, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (MST).

The winner will receive $529 deposited into an AZ529 Education Savings Plan. This plan offers tax advantages and flexible investment options, providing a practical approach to saving for a child’s education.
