Job Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Conducts both technical and soft skills training sessions in person, via video, or through web conferencing. Covers credit union-wide initiatives, products, services, and required business competencies.
  • Curriculum Development: Writes new training programs and reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing programs. Recommends appropriate changes as needed.
  • Training Materials: Develops training and coaching materials, including training material, exercises, quizzes, video aids, tutorials, job aids and reference material. Utilize eLearning or established programs when appropriate.
  • Technology Utilization: Uses advanced technology such as AI, Microsoft 365 tools, SharePoint and new tools available to create and enhance training programs.
  • Collaboration: Builds strong relationships with management, project managers, and subject matter experts to create training plans aligned with company initiatives, strategic plans, new products, and policy changes. This includes needs assessments, material coverage, and training effectiveness evaluation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Project Management: Strategically and tactically manage projects to support the implementation and training of new initiatives within the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and execute process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Multi-Tasking: Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Foster a collaborative environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong writing skills and the ability to comprehend and convey complex information clearly and effectively
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial computer programs and the ability to learn and utilize the Credit Union’s equipment and software programs. Willingness to use advanced technologies such as AI and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Adaptability: The ability to effectively adjust training methods and strategies to navigate uncertainty and changing conditions. This involves being flexible and responsive to new information, unexpected challenges, and evolving learner needs, ensuring that training remains relevant and effective.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address training challenges and improve training effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred in Business Administration, Finance, Education, Organizational Communication or relevant field and/or equivalent experience.
  • One to two years’ training experience and/or equivalent financial institution experience preferred.
  • Work is normally performed in an office setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

 

Pay Information:

The pay ranges represent the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. This position is eligible for incentives based on overall performance.

Grade Value 1000: $24.09 – $32.55

Training Information:

Paid training will be held at our corporate office in Colorado Springs Monday-Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm) beginning mid-September.
