Job Description:

InRoads Credit Union is seeking a diligent, and knowledgeable full time Commercial Credit Administrator to join our team in St Helens, Oregon. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and comes with a full benefit package including a matching 401k.

This position is responsible for managing the credit union’s commercial loan portfolio, overseeing overall credit risk and ensuring sound underwriting and portfolio performance. This role provides leadership in credit analysis, monitors existing business relationships, and works closely with staff to support member business success while protecting the credit union’s assets.

 

Minimum of five years experience, preferably in the financial industry performing credit analysis. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent in work experience is required.

 

A successful Commercial Credit Administrator should be equipped to perform the following:

 

  • Prior management experience is preferred.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of credit products, credit risk management, portfolio management responsibilities, and a complete understanding of loan policy.
  • Requires understanding of business and financial fundamentals, with mathematical aptitude and advanced accounting and spreadsheet skills.
  • Requires demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and effective problem resolution skills.
  • Requires ability to manage a high-volume workflow and to work in a dynamic and challenging environment characterized by changing priorities and short-term deadlines.
  • Must be an effective communicator and able to work effectively with senior management and team members.
  • Must be able to maintain composure under pressure, interact routinely with others face-to-face, by telephone, and through other communication methods using active listening skills and excellent teamwork.
  • Must be reliable in meeting exacting or highly accurate work results, strict deadlines, and prompt and friendly service delivery.
  • Requires working with others in a group or team and the ability to remain flexible despite interruptions and/or routine changes to priorities and/or job duties.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook, and database software applications including credit union core operating system and tax analysis software.
  • Must demonstrate acceptable personal financial responsibility and be bondable.
  • Requires ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on a routine basis.
