Employees at Glendale, Ariz.-based Credit Union West partnered with the CU West CARES Charitable Foundation to donate $9,489.04 to Soldier’s Best Friend, an Arizona-based nonprofit organization dedicated to pairing and training service dogs with eligible veterans at no cost to the veteran.

Tucson, Ariz.-based Pima Federal Credit Union and RBAZ Bancorp, Inc., the holding company of Republic Bank of Arizona, announced on May 16 that they have entered into a definitive agreement whereby Pima will purchase substantially all of the assets and assume substantially all of the liabilities of Republic Bank in an all-cash transaction.
