Navigate the Complex World of IRAs With Expert Guidance: Register for IRA Trainings in October

Whether you’re new to IRA administration or looking to strengthen your knowledge of more complex IRA issues, two virtual training sessions from Ascensus offer practical, in-depth education for credit union professionals.

Hosted by the Tennessee and Mississippi Credit Union Association and brought to you in collaboration with GoWest, the training features experienced instructors and covers IRA topics ranging from foundational concepts to advanced situations. Interactive exercises throughout each session help participants apply what they learn to real-world, job-related scenarios.

IRA Essentials is designed for professionals who are new to IRAs or want to build a strong foundation. No previous IRA knowledge is required. Participants will learn the fundamentals of working with IRA owners and processing basic IRA transactions, with exercises to reinforce key concepts.

Advanced IRAs builds on foundational IRA knowledge and focuses on more complex issues that financial organizations may encounter. Previous IRA knowledge is required, and real-world exercises help participants apply advanced concepts to their work.

Both sessions are delivered virtually, making it easy to participate.

IRA Essentials: Oct. 14 – 7 a.m. ‐ 2:30 p.m. PT / 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Advanced IRAs: Oct. 15 – 7 a.m. ‐ 2:30 p.m. PT / 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Whether you’re building your IRA knowledge from the ground up or looking for an update on current rules and more advanced topics, these sessions provide practical training to help you confidently support your members’ IRA needs.

Earn Continuing Education Credits

Each course is approved for 7.25 credits for CIP, CIS, CISP, CRSP, and CTFA — making this a perfect opportunity to learn IRA essentials while earning needed continuing education credits.
