Peak Credit Union recently celebrated the groundbreaking of its new Gateway Branch in Springfield, Ore., marking another investment in local access to cooperative financial services and community development.
Peak leaders were joined by members of the Board of Directors and Oregon State Senator James Manning, Jr., a longtime supporter of the Credit Union Movement and advocate for working families.

The new branch is expected to open in Spring 2027 and will expand Peak’s ability to serve members in one of the region’s busiest commercial corridors.
“Credit unions play an important role in strengthening communities by providing access to financial services, supporting local economies, and helping families achieve their financial goals,” said Peak CEO David Tuyo.
During the groundbreaking, Tuyo and Sen. Manning also shared an engaging conversation about the powerful role credit unions play in building stronger communities and supporting Oregon’s economic growth.
As Peak continues to grow across Oregon and Southwest Washington, the Gateway Branch reflects the credit union’s ongoing commitment to investing in local communities and creating greater access for members.
