Oregon State Credit Union Opens New Branch to Expand Access in Portland Area

Oregon State Credit Union will open a new branch in Cedar Mill in summer 2026 to expand convenient, local access for its many members who live or work in the Portland metro area.
The new location will provide easy, everyday banking to Northwest Portland and Beaverton, where members have expressed a growing need for local financial services.
“The new Cedar Mill branch reflects our continued focus on accessible, relationship-driven service in a modern, welcoming space,” said CEO and President Gary Schuette II. “Its location in a high-traffic retail area allows us to meet members where they already live, work and shop, reinforcing our commitment to our members and community.”
The new location will offer full-service banking and in-branch support, including account services, lending, and a 24-hour, walk-up ATM. It is the credit union’s second branch to open in the Portland area in the past year, following the launch of its Wilsonville location in October 2025.
A ribbon cutting is planned for Sept. 10, and the community is invited to join for a grand opening celebration on Sept. 12.
Daniel Swift, branch manager, encourages members and visitors to stop by the new branch, meet the team, and learn more about how the credit union can help them achieve their financial goals.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone and becoming a trusted financial partner in Cedar Mill,” Swift said. “I’m excited to bring Oregon State Credit Union’s exceptional service to this vibrant community.”
