Numerica Credit Union’s Coffee for a Cause Brews Support for North Idaho Families

A simple coffee run can help support children and families in crisis across North Idaho. On May 29, Numerica Credit Union partnered with Jitterz Espresso for Coffee for a Cause, donating $1 to Canopy Village for every beverage purchased at Jitterz Espresso locations, up to $10,000.

Canopy Village is a trauma-responsive safe haven supporting children and families in crisis. Through safe housing, support services, and relationship-centered care, the organization helps create stability and healing for local families during difficult times.

Last year alone, Canopy Village provided more than 2,000 nights of safety for children in the community.

“Every child deserves to feel safe during difficult moments,” said Rosa Mettler, Canopy Village Executive Director. “Community partnerships like this help ensure children and families have access to care, resources, and support when they need it most. We’re grateful to Numerica and Jitterz Espresso for standing alongside local families.”

Coffee for a Cause reflects Numerica CARES for Kids, the credit union’s long-term commitment to supporting children and families experiencing systemic poverty and barriers to stability. Through partnerships with local organizations and businesses, Numerica invests in programs that strengthen communities across the region.
