Employee Giving in Action: Credit Union West Supports Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates
Posted by Alyse Knudsen on May 27, 2026
On April 23, Credit Union West employees, in partnership with the CU West CARES Charitable Foundation, donated $9,638.04 to Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG) as part of the credit union’s EmployeesCARE Program. JAG was chosen as the 2026 Q1 EmployeesCARE recipient for their dedication to educating and preparing Arizona’s youth for the future through their impactful programs.
JAG aims to help young people stay in school and acquire the academic, personal, leadership, and vocational skills they need to be successful upon graduation. Through career exploration, job shadowing, internships, and employability skills development, JAG students gain the tools to confidently enter the job market.
“Education is one of the key areas where we focus our giving,” said Karen Roch, Credit Union West’s President and CEO. “We’re honored to support JAG and their important work in helping Arizona’s students build their futures.”
This is the first donation from the credit union’s EmployeesCARE Program in 2026. The program is funded solely through employee donations and benefits four local, nonprofit organizations each year. The funds for this donation were generously matched contributions from the CU West CARES Charitable Foundation.
