Matt Stephenson Named 2025 Oregon Credit Union Advocate of the Year

Matt Stephenson, President & CEO of Rogue Credit Union, was presented with the 2025 Oregon Credit Union Advocate of the Year award at Tuesday’s Governmental Affairs Committee meeting in Portland.

Matt has been a true leader in the credit union movement for many years and is a respected leader in Southern Oregon. In addition to serving as Co-Chair of the Oregon GAC, he was appointed to the FHLB Board and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Southern Oregon University, a role appointed by the Governor.

He has also served on the executive board of his local chamber, maintained strong engagement with Southern Oregon legislators, and previously served as an elected official, demonstrating a deep and lasting commitment to advocacy at every level.

Congratulations, Matt, on this well-deserved recognition.
