Get Future Ready! Apply Now for YP Leads at MAXX 2026

If you’re ready to grow your skills, connect with industry leaders, and take the next step in your career, the YP Leads program at MAXX 2026 is your opportunity.

Eighteen young professionals are selected each year to attend MAXX for a high-impact experience focused on learning, networking, and professional development. More than just a conference, YP Leads is designed to help you step into your potential and expand your influence within the Credit Union Movement.

The deadline to apply is Friday, June 19.

Selected YP Leads (three from each GoWest state) receive complimentary registration to MAXX 2026 in Denver, Colo. During the event, participants attend key sessions and events, take part in a dedicated orientation with GoWest staff, connect with peers, and hear from an inspiring keynote speaker.

Beyond MAXX, the experience continues with a yearlong mentorship. Each YP Lead is paired with a mentor, and together they create a personalized plan with goals to support ongoing growth and leadership development.

“Mentorship in the YP Leads program isn’t just a checkbox — it’s the heart of this experience,” said Lexy Strong, GoWest’s Credit Union Communities Manager. “Our mentors are intentional and all-in. They don’t just share advice — they create space for reflection, growth, and real connection. It’s what makes this journey so impactful for everyone involved.”

How to Apply

Applying is simple. Candidates will answer a few questions, submit a short essay or video, and provide a letter of endorsement from a supervisor or credit union leader. Applications are reviewed by a panel of past YP Leads and mentors, and the 2026 cohort will be announced in July.
